About FeedPups
Why we built this
FeedPups started as a doodle: what if playing a small, calm browser game could do something real for animals waiting for a home? A year later it’s a small community of players who’ve collectively served hundreds of thousands of virtual meals and turned that momentum into recurring kibble deliveries to shelter partners.
How the funding model works
Two things fund shelter meals: ad revenue from the content page you’re reading, and optional food-credit purchases. Every month we reconcile that revenue against shelter invoices and publish a running total on the homepage. Overhead is intentionally low — no offices, no salaries, just kibble.
Our partners
We work with independent shelters and rescue networks in the U.S. and Canada. Partners are selected based on transparency of their intake data, willingness to share monthly impact photos, and capacity to accept recurring bulk deliveries. If you run a shelter and would like to be considered, email us.
Design principles
- Never guilt-trip the player. Play should feel light.
- Every dog in the game is based on a real rescue breed profile.
- Impact reporting is public and monthly.
- Ads support the mission, but never interrupt gameplay.
